The
Lady Rose Foundation was conceived by a
welfare- and development-oriented person
with great ideas on how to address problems
of Sibanga's local people in the sub-county
of Mbale District. Lady Rose has a special
focus on the prevention of rape/defilement
and domestic violence that spreads HIV/AIDS.
Lady Rose is committed to:
-
Provide counseling and guidance
facilities on rape/defilement, domestic
violence, and AIDS/HIV for beneficiaries and include a free and
confidential hotline for victims to
report cases more freely.
-
Establish and provide a modern center
for accessing research information,
medical facilities for victims,
recreation facilities like promotion of
games and sports among beneficiaries.
-
Provide training programs and empower
beneficiaries with knowledge and
technical skills in information
technology, business skills, modern
faming facilities, catering and
tailoring to be self-reliant.
-
Advance credit by promoting
income-generating activities among the
beneficiaries for self-reliance.
-
Training in: Carpentry, farming,
brick-making and laying, home economics,
business management, information technology,
tailoring, and designing.
-
Guidance and counseling: Sensitization,

and courts and counseling.
-

schools, advising on small scale projects
and supervision, and arbitration among

Project Strategy
The Lady Rose Foundation has formulated an
appropriate strategy in order to achieve the
